Anyway, I had to get rid of some links. My sister Allie had only posted once since February 2008. My parents, not since May 2009. Jackie, May 2010. I don’t even remember some of the others.
I won’t delete Tarcs and Wyatt cos they’re dead, and then all the sudden it seems really important to find everything they wrote, to have something to hold onto and feel a little bit of their personality still.
God damn I miss Wyatt. I watched The Tillman Story last night and just got pissed off all over again. Everything is so pointless. Don’t even get me started on how the government tries to placate you and shut you up when someone dies in its service, we went through that and Wyatt wasn’t even a soldier. And their so-called internal investigations can kiss my ass.
I will say, if you are thinking of joining the Peace Corps and feel reassured because you’ll have American medical care and the American government behind you – think again. You get local law enforcement, local medical care, and your fellow Peace Corps volunteers aren’t even prepped with basic first aid or CPR classes in case someone gets hurt. I mean, I get fricken CPR classes in my office and we’re not in the middle of the goddamn bush.
I’ll leave that for now because I’m getting angry. Back to my blogroll. Sandy, you are on notice for deletion! At least show us some new puppy pics!
